Edward John Bergey

Edward John Bergey was called home Friday morning, March 3, 2017 surrounded by family.Ed was born November 22, 1943 in Clare, MI to Fredrick Sr. and Cleo (Wilson) Bergey. He was a Senior Ride Captain of the Patriot Guard. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.He is survived by his special friend, Joyce Bliss, his children, Cindy (Richard) Mullens, Elizabeth (John) Umphrey, JoGeanna Romero, Kathern (BJ) Kangas, Troy White-Bergey and Ashleigh White, 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Siblings, Rayland (Alice) Bergey, Doris Bergey, Fredrick "Duffy" Jr. (Satomi) Bergey and Eugene (Karen) Bergey.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ronald and nephews, Toby and Dewayne.A Memorial Service for Ed will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, WI. Pastor Douglas Bjerke will officiate. Military Honors will be performed by the Neillsville Veteran's Council.
