Richard "Buck" Sischo, age 60, of Neillsville, WI died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. Richard Ernest Sischo was born on April 24, 1955 in Neillsville, WI the son of Richard and Lillian (Castner) Sischo Sr. He was a Vietnam era war veteran, serving in the United States Army from 1973 to 1976. When he returned he moved to Colorado and worked as a deputy sheriff for Chaffee County. He also worked as a miner at Climax Mine, as a ski-lift operator in Monarch, CO and as a head boatsman for River Runners Rafting in Buena Vista, CO. On October 20, 1990 he was united in marriage to Alice Psota in Buena Vista, CO. Six months later they moved to Neillsville and Buck began his career of operating heavy equipment. He spent twenty years as the Town of Weston Patrolman/Heavy Equipment operator until his health forced him to retire in 2011.Buck loved being outdoors and he lived life to the fullest. Instead of just skiing and snowmobiling on the weekends, he entered races and won trophies. He was an expert marksman and shot trap for the Wildcat Inn for many years and won many awards. He loved his many cats that were always coming and going from his home. Buck's best quality, though, was that he was a devoted family man.
