James Harlen Mohr Sr

James Mohr Sr, passed away on October 23, 2015 at his home surrounded by family.James was born May 27, 1949 in Neillsville, WI to Donald and Mildred (Lloyd) Mohr. In March, 1971 James married Barbara Ockerl and they later divorced. Together they had two children, James and Christina. James then married Karen Dolle on October 8, 1982 and they had two children, Joseph and Mary.James was employed at HH Van Gorden for 33 years until its closing. James worked at Lynn Protein for the past 16 years. He never missed a single day of work.James' hobbies were hunting and fishing, but his greatest joys were his grandchildren; Lukas, Kyle, Ryan, Dontae and Kira. To put it simply, James was a kind man and a wonderful grandpa.Honorary pallbearers will be his children and grandchildren with burial in Neillsville City Cemetery.James is survived by his wife, Karen, children, James Mohr of Ladysmith, WI, Christina (Jeff) Mohr of Holcombe, WI, Mary Mohr of Neillsville, WI, Joseph (Amanda) Mohr of Neillsville, WI and two step-children, David Schreindl of Chili, WI and Laura Schreindl of Mishawauka, IN. James is also survived by his brothers, Fred, Ronnie, Randy, Steve and Gary and his sisters, Donna, Joann and Diane.James was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, WI.Online Condolences may be made at www.geschefh.com.
