Belle Elvira Mazola-Imig

Belle Elvira (Hansen) Mazola-Imig, 96 and 6 months of age, peacefully entered the gates of heaven on Friday, July 10, 2015 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.Belle was born January 24, 1919 to Christine and Harry Hansen of Catawba, WI (Pierce Co.). She was the 7th of 13 children.Belle had a lifelong career in education/teaching. It spanned 45 years including 15 years as a principal. She held 3 Master's Degrees, was dearly loved by her students and was highly respected by her colleagues.She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters, 4 brothers, husbands, John Sr., Elton, and son, John Jr.She is survived by 2 sisters, Evelyn and Lila; sons, Albert and Edward, daughter, Beverly; 2 daughters-in-law, Donna and June; 9 grandchildren, Tammy, Michael, Wendy, Michelle, Kristen, Bradley, Amber, Pattie and Peggy; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville. Viewing will be 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, with reception to follow in the church hall.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1813 Black River Road, Neillsville, WI 54456 or St. Joseph's Fairview Catholic Church, N13740 Fairview Road, Fairchild, WI 54741Online Condolences may be made at www.geschefh.com.
