Elsie E Holub

Elsie Holub, age 95, of Neillsville, WI died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.Elsie Marek was born on August 7, 1919 in Hatfield, WI the daughter of James and Josephine (Stopa) Marek. She went to the Clay School, just east of Hatfield. After finishing her education she worked in Chicago as a nanny/housekeeper. On August 12, 1940 she was united in marriage to Ervin Holub. They farmed in the Town of Levis. Elsie also worked for twenty years Winnebago Indian School in Neillsville as a houseparent, and she worked for many years at Nefco in Neillsville.She is survived by a son, Harold (Arlene) Holub of Black River Falls, WI, many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two sisters, Josephine and Olga.Private family services are being held.Online Condolences may be made at www.geschefh.com.
