Cornelia Mae Kopp, 83, of Humbird was called home by our Lord and Savior, Thursday, May 7, 2015 in her home with her family by her side.Cornelia was born on April 6, 1932 in rural Humbird to Russell and Mabel (Courchaine) O'Leary. After the passing of her mother, at a young age, her father remarried Unita Pierce. Her grandmother Emma O'Leary played a very special role in raising her to the beautiful person she was. She attended Humbird High School and attended her senior year at Lincoln High School in Alma Center graduating with the class of 1950. She married Raymond C. Kopp on August 5, 1950 at the Humbird Methodist Church and was happily married for 64 years. She lived her entire life in Humbird.She was born again on April 5, 1981. The following verse spoke to her soul Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. She was baptized July 1981 and was received into fellowship in October of the same year at the Gospel Hall in Black River Falls. Cornelia is survived by her husband Raymond, her two sons Marvin (Earlene) Kopp, Rick (Lori) Kopp, her daughter and best friend Karmen (Kenneth) Deal, and ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren.Cornelia was proceeded in death by her parents Russell and Mabel (Courchaine) O'Leary, stepmother Unita O'Leary, grandparents Emma and Peter, her daughter Kathleen, her brother Alton O'Leary, and her grandson Scott Kopp.Cornelia loved and enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her beloved dog Philly. She had a heart of gold and was loved by many. She was known for her sense of humor and her love of baking, but her most prized accomplishment was leading her family to salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. She was the center of our flower and her family were her petals. She will be dearly missed by many. We will carry her in our hearts forever and she will never be forgotten.Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and a celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. The visitation and service will be held at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville with burial to follow at the Mentor Cemetery in Humbird.
