Marian L Bush

Marian Bush, age 100, of Neillsville, WI died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 with family by her side at the Neillsville Care and Rehabilitation Center.Marian Lucille Bremer was born on October 16, 1914 in the Town of Weston, Clark County, Wisconsin the daughter of Fred and Clara (Barnett) Bremer. She attended the Forman Grade School. She was united marriage to Wayne Bush on July 8, 1930 in Winona, MN. She worked as a homemaker and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to her family. They lived in Milwaukee, Madison, Portage, Alma Center, La Crosse and in the mid-'70's moved to Neillsville.Marian was a member of the United Methodist Church in Neillsville. She enjoyed watching and listening to her beloved Chicago Cubs. She also enjoyed gardening, babysitting, country music and watching the Green Bay Packers. She was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed.She is survived by three children, Dixie (Fritz) Hediger of Neillsville, WI, Dennis (Joyce) Bush of West Bend, WI and Daniel Bush of Eau Claire, WI, 26 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 43 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a son-in-law, Arnold Opelt of Granton and a daughter-in-law, Joann Bush of Mosinee, WI.She was preceded in death by her husband, three children, Delores Opelt, Donna Gault and Duane Bush, her parents, three sisters, Hazel, Mabel and Zelma and two brothers, Howard and Clarence "Bud", and a son-in-law, Gene Gault.A Memorial Service for Marian will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Jacoba Koppert will officiate. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015.
