Dennis Butler, age 78, of Neillsville, WI died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Neillsville Care and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville.Dennis Lane Butler was born on December 17, 1937 in Eau Claire, WI. He served in the United States Navy and worked as a Pipefitter. He loved being a pilot and was "into" anything mechanical. He liked telling jokes and he was a very meticulous man, making sure his grass was just the right height and picture frames were perfectly level. He always loved to learn and enjoyed books that would increase his knowledge. He even read the dictionary. On August 5, 2009 he was united in marriage to Susan Hakey in Neillsville.He is survived by his wife, Susan, two children, Dennis Jr. and Debra and a step-son, Richard (Nicole) Hakey of Fairchild, WI.Dennis was preceded in death by his Parents.As per Dennis's wishes there will not be any funeral services.Online Condolences may be made at www.geschefh.com.
