Dale I Vine

Dale I. Vine, age 69, of Granton, WI, died on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville, WI.Dale Irving Vine was born in Neillsville, WI on June 1, 1945 the son of Irving and Frieda (Hillert) Vine. Dale lived his entire life in Granton. He was known as a hard worker and spent many years hauling milk and then farming until he retired in 1994. Dale then spent his time driving truck for Smith Feed and Triewelier for many years. He was united in marriage to Donna Tompkins on Feb. 2, 1977 in Neillsville, WI. Dale was well known in the community and loved to be out in the woods, either making wood for burning or making maple syrup. He is survived by his wife, Donna, 7 children, Teresa Thompson of Wauwatosa, WI, Craig (Brenda) Roehl of Oswego, IL, Jolene (Joe) Lensmire of Green Bay, WI, Sherry (Mark) Boettcher of Augusta, WI, Mike (Amber) Vine of Neillsville, WI, Jerilyn "Jay" Vine of Menasha, WI and Denise Vine of Cashton, WI, 9 Granddaughters, Nicole Lensmire, Brittney Roehl, Jasmin Boettcher, Hallie Bieneck, Brianna Bieneck, Elizabeth Thompson, Kylie Roehl, Bella Bieneck and Abby Wheeler. He is also survived by 9 Grandsons, who will serve as his casket bearers, Ronnie Vine, Brett Opelt, Jeff Vine, Cody Winkler, Dallas Opelt, Nicholas Gore, Nathan Berg, Austin Boettcher and Garrett Roehl and siblings, Fern (Donald) Rowe of Granton, Robert (Diane) Vine of Marshfield, Harold (Kathy) Vine, Kenny (Bev) Vine and Ronnie (Diane) Vine all of Granton and extended family member Damon Vine.Preceding him in death were his parents and 2 sons, Dale Vine Jr. and Gary Roehl. A Funeral Service for Dale will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Intern Pastor Ken Schmidt will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Gesche Funeral Home and also from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday morning.Online Condolences may be made at www.geschefh.com.
