Anne Filitz peacefully went home on January 10, 2014. The loving wife of Jim Filitz; they were joined in marriage on Oct. 12, 1963. Their mutual love of hunting, fishing and family was the foundation of their lives together. Anne had a successful career as a Registered Nurse; working as a Public Health Nurse for Clark County for 27 years and as a Head Staff Nurse for Sunburst Youth Homes for 7 years. She devoted her life to partnership with her husband, together serving as volunteers throughout the community. Anne was a devoted member of the United Church of Christ in Neillsville, WI; serving as a Sunday School Teacher and assisting in her church community. She was one of the first women to serve on the Church's board of deacons. Anne enjoyed being a lead Hunter Education Instructor volunteering for the WI DNR for over 33 years. Anne was a 4-H club youth leader for the Pine Toppers 4-H club. Touching the lives of countless children and adults, she will be greatly missed by the community she served and loved. Remembered and loved by her husband Jim, their son Jim Filitz, daughters Cinda Filitz and Laurel (John) Czajka, grandchildren Matt (Lynn) Czajka, Tim Czajka, Andy Czajka, and Jenny Czajka. GreatGranddaughter, Cadence Czajka. Anne was loved by the Family of Todd and Barb Stewart with sons; Sean and Todd Jr (TJ). Fondly remembered by her brother, Lawrence (Dixie) Dehart, sister Carol (John) Bredlau, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Vera and Sanford Dehart, and sister, Sharon Fash. Funeral Services for Anne will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2014 at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville. Pastor Jacoba Koppert will officiate. Music will be provided by Karen Mohr, organist. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
