Lynette Marie Anason

Lynette Marie Anason, age 45, of Neillsville, WI passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, November 06, 2013 at her home following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.Lynette Marie Kurasz was born on July 12, 1968 in Neillsville, WI the daughter of Lee and Joan (Halle) Kurasz. She attended St. John's Lutheran School and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1986. Lynette then enlisted into the Army National Guard and served for ten years. During this time, she also attended Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire and earned an associate's degree in accounting. On July 18, 1987 she was united in marriage to Gary Michael Anason at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville. Lynette worked for three years at the Neillsville Foundry as a core maker and then she began her career at Leeson Motors, now known as Regal Motor Company. She worked at Regal Motor Company factories in Neillsville and most recently, Black River Falls. Her illness forced her to retire earlier this year.Lynette was a life-long member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville. She enjoyed reading, hiking, biking and camping with her family. She was a loving, caring person who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.She is survived by her husband, Gary, two sons, Joshua and Zachary, her parents, Lee and Joan Kurasz, a brother, Craig Kurasz of Neillsville, a sister, Brenda Kurasz (Donald Oldham) of Granton, WI, her father-in-law, Oliver (Elizabeth) Anason of Janesville, WI, her mother-in-law, Michael Ann Thompson of Plover, WI, a sister-in-law, Rosemary Kurasz of Neillsville, WI and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters in-law.She was preceded in death by a brother, John, her maternal grandparents, Arnold and Elsie Halle and her paternal grandparents, William and Eva Kurasz.Funeral Services for Lynette will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville. Pastor Timothy Biebert will officiate. Music will be provided by Sharon Nemitz, organist. Interment will be at a later date.
