Carol Mohr, age 65, of Neillsville, WI died on Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI.Carol Jean Houck was born on October 17, 1947 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Robert and Laverne (Piehl) Houck. After high school she went to business school for 2 years and that lead to a job working for her Uncle's printing company and for her father as a typesetter for 20 years. After that she worked in estate cleanouts and also the billing for that job. When Carol sold her house in Chicago she moved to Neillsville, WI and worked for Sunburst. On Jan 30, 2000 she was united in marriage to Frederic Mohr in Neillsville. Together they farmed. Carol loved to cook for her family and read. She was a quiet simple woman who loved her family and loved to visit. If anyone wanted to know the weather they could just ask Carol as her favorite channel was the weather channel. She is survived by her husband, Fred, a son, Steve (Holly) Fant of Louisiana, daughters, Sarah Marshall of Marshfield, WI and Katee (fiance', Adam Haffenberedl) Brogan, 3 step-children, Jenny (Rob) Wagner of Neillsville, Becky (Jeremiah) Farmer of Blair and Peggy Mohr of Neillsville and 24 Grandchildren. Carol is also survived by a brother, Glen Houck of Illinois and a sister, Linda Gayten of Fort Myers, FL and a best friend, Cheryl Friedemann of Chili, WI.Carol was preceded in death by her parents.A Funeral Service will be held for Carol at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Gesche Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday prior to the service at the Gesche Funeral Home. Interment will be in Neillsville City Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers will be Rob Wagner, Josh Hoffman, Chris Wetzel, Tyler Mohr, Blain Marshall and Corey Rinehart.Online Condolences may be made at www.geschefh.com.
