Jerry Wayne Stillman

Jerry Stillman, age 59, of Granton, WI died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Ministry Home Care Hospice House of the Dove in Marshfield, WI.Jerry Wayne Stillman was born on August 12, 1953 in Neillsville, WI the son of Chester and Betty (Zimmerman) Stillman. He attended Granton High School and graduated in 1971. Jerry then began working for the telephone company in Indiana. On August 12, 1971 he was united in marriage to Debbie Ortiz in Corinth, Mississippi. They lived in Granton and Jerry worked for the Nelson Muffler Company. Later, he became the Superintendent of Buses and a Bus Driver for the Granton School District. Jerry then became a semi-truck owner/operator and drove for Roehl Transport, Midwest Specialized, Admiral Merchant and Lynn Dairy.He was a member of the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton, and his hobbies included his beloved basset hounds, Snickers and Sophie, fishing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling and collecting die-cast cars.He is survived by his wife, Debbie, two children, Zena (Edward) Pelletier and their children, Arielle and Shawne all of San Antonio, TX and Scotty (Carmen) Stillman and their children, Isabel and Logan all of Lacy, WA. Jerry is also survived by his father, Chester Stillman of Granton, WI and sisters, Beverly (Kenneth) Vine of Granton, WI, Joanie (Bruce) Cliver of Bloomer, WI and Linda (Kenneth) Coyle of Medford, WI, along with several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Stillman.Funeral Services for Jerry will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Allen Zimmerman will officiate. Music will be provided by Chris Coyle, soloist, Shawne Pelletier, pianist and Eileen Zank, organist. Interment will be in Windfall Cemetery in Granton, WI. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24th at the Gesche Funeral Home.
