Colleen Alberta Kunhart

Colleen Kunhart, age 84 of Neillsville, WI passed into God's hands on December 25, 2012 at the Neillsville Care and Rehabilitation Center.Colleen Alberta Smith was born on November 14, 1928 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Albert Henry and Dorothy Henretta (Roth) Smith. She graduated from high school in Chicago and was united in marriage to Fred Kunhart on May 16, 1964 in Chicago. They moved to Neillsville in 1971 and farmed in the town of Levis. Along with farming and raising a family, Colleen also worked as a recreational therapist at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville, a member of the TOPS club and a supporter of the Clark County Humane Society.She is survived four sons, Mike Flanagan of Lexington, KY, Tom Flanagan of La Crosse, WI, Fred W. Kunhart of Neillsville and John Kunhart of Knoxville, TN, a daughter, Kathy (Mike) Hart of Neillsville, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren and special friends to the family, Danny Hainz of Neillsville and Rachael Tracy of Bolingbrook, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred R. Kunhart, her parents, Albert and Dorothy Smith, two daughters, Frances L. Flanagan and Cheryl L. Flanagan, a sister, Vel McAlister, and a brother, Albert G.
