Anna Aumann, age 102, of Neillsville, WI was called home to heaven on Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Neillsville Care and Rehabilitation Center.Anna Bertha Aumann was born on December 31, 1908 in the Town of Grant, Clark County, Wisconsin the daughter of Gustave and Anna (Kupke) Reich. She attended school in Granton, WI and on November 2, 1930 she was united in marriage to Claude Aumann. During their married life, they farmed at several locations mostly in Clark County. Claude died in 1971, and Anna then worked several jobs off the farm, including cooking for Curt Marg and for many years as a cleaning lady at the nursing home in Neillsville until her retirement.Anna was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville. She loved tending to her garden and walking to town everyday to visit with her friends.She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Ann Aumann of Neillsville, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and a sister, Martha Durst of Madison, WI.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Donald and Marvin, a grandson, Mark, six brothers and two sisters.Funeral Services for Anna will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2011 at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville. Pastor Timothy Biebert will officiate. Music will be provided by Judy Trunkel, organist and Jacob Aumann, soloist. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
