Walter Hahn III

Walter Hahn, age 50, of Neillsville, WI died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at his home on Hewett Street in Neillsville.Walter Hahn III was born on August 29, 1960 in Urbana, IL the son of Walter Jr. and Joyce (Smith) Hahn. He attended and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1978 and then joined the United States Navy, serving for 10 years. Upon his discharge he enlisted into the United States Army Reserves and served for 10 more years. On August 19, 2000 he was united in marriage to Sharon Odom in Neillsville.Walter enjoyed fishing and hunting and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.He is survived by his wife, Sharon, two children, Alex Hahn of Stone Lake, WI and Paul Hahn of Strum, WI, his mother, Joyce Hahn of Neillsville, a brother, Greg Hahn of Neillsville and a sister, Bethany (Darrell) of San Diego, CA.A Memorial Service for Walter will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Steven Wentz will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the Gesche Funeral Home. Military Honors will be accorded by the Neillsville Veterans Council.
