Richard Campbell, age 55, of Neillsville, WI died Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield, WI.Richard Shot Campbell was born on March 12, 1955 in Marshfield, WI the son of Gordon and Melba (Boness) Campbell. He graduated from Neillsville High School in 1973 and then worked at Nelson Muffler, Marshfield Homes and Kisslingers in Black River Falls. On March 14, 1975 he was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Smith, they later divorced but remained good friends. In the early 1980s he opened SureShot Auto Body, specializing in Corvette restoration. He also worked at Daves Auto Parts. In 1991, Shot opened SEC Auto in Neillsville.A few of his many interests were classic cars, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and a love of ships, especially the Titanic, and the sea.He is survived by his girlfriend, Erika Kurasz, his son, Michael Campbell of Cypress, TX and Katie, whom Shot thought of as his own daughter, (Andy) Aumann and their two children, Noah and Connor of Eau Claire, WI. He is also survived by his mother, Melba (nee Boness) Campbell of Neillsville, WI, a brother, Don Campbell of Neillsville, WI, three sisters, Diane (Dale) Northup of Marshfield, WI, Judy (Mike) Blackwood of Marshfield, WI and Pat (Ted) Carter of Arlington Heights, VA, along with lots of nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Campbell and friends, Tim Digoski and Kenny Krohn.A casual gathering to celebrate Shots life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. At 4:00 Shot will take his final cruise thru town.Honorary Casket Bearers are: Jack Kluckhohn, the late Tim Digoski, Cliff Jennerman, Dustin Northup, Dale Olson, Steve Johnson, Larry Kosmosky and Roy Bieneck.Casket Bearers are: Michael Campbell, Mike Blackwood, Joe Holman, Ronnie Mazola, George Saylor, Ron Molini, David Northup and Duane Northup.In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Clark County Humane Society, P.O.
