Richard Krall, age 68, of Neillsville, WI died Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Neillsville.Richard Frank Krall was born on June 15, 1942 at St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield, WI the son of Aloys and Eleanore (Kolb) Krall. He attended St. Marys Catholic Grade School and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1960. After graduation, he worked for a couple of years at Shorts Fur Farm and then was drafted into the United States Army. Richard was stationed in Germany and served in the Army from 1964 to 1966. When he returned to Neillsville he went back to work for Shorts first as a truck driver and later as a lead man. He worked there for many years before retiring.Richard was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Neillsville. He was also a member of the Haugen-Richmond American Legion Post #73 in Neillsville. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers and he was also a big NASCAR fan.He is survived by his three brothers, Thomas (Karlene) Krall of Big Bend, WI, Terrence (Mary) Krall of Slinger, WI and LeRoy (LeeAnn) Krall of West Salem, WI, a sister, Kathleen (Anthony) Lux of Denver, CO and nine nephews.He was preceded in death by his Parents.A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 16, 2010 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Neillsville. The Celebrant will be Fr. Woodrow H. Pace. Music will be provided by Ronald Resong, organist and St. Marys Choir. Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the Neillsville Veterans Council. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Monday at the Catholic Church.Honorary Casket Bearers are Floyd Short, Bill Short, Franklin Boh and Allen Naedler.Casket Bearers are his nephews: Joshua, Justin, Scott, Matt, David, Ryan and Nathan Krall and Tom and Chris Lux.In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Marys Catholic Church, 1813 Black River Road, Neillsville, WI 54456.
