Doris Moldenhauer

Doris Moldenhauer, age 90, of Granton, WI, died Saturday, June 8, 2024, Wells Nature View Assisted Living Facility in Marshfield, WI.

Doris Janet Moldenhauer was born on May 28, 1934, at home in the Town of Grant, Clark County, WI, the daughter of Alfred William and Leona Margaret (Riedel) Moldenhauer. She attended Rodes Country Grade School and graduated from Granton High School in 1952. She worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Company a couple of different times during her life. She also drove for Abby Vans.

She was a life-long member of Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton, and served as their janitor for many years. Her hobby was driving anything with wheels, John Deere tractors, her John Deere gator, pick-ups and cars. She also liked listening to old-time country classics, church organ music and animals.

She is survived by several cousins,including special cousins, Charlie Riedel, and Nancy Tapp and family.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents.

A Memorial Service for Doris will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton. Pastor Bob Garbisch will officiate. Music will be provided by Caroline Helm, organist. Interment will be in the Zion American Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the Zion American Lutheran Church.
