Terry Joe Vandeberg

  Terry Vandeberg, age 54, of Granton, WI died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Marshfield Medical Center.   Terry Joe Vandeberg was born on August 1, 1963 in Neillsville, WI the son of John and Marjorie Ann (Dietz) Vandeberg. He was raised in Granton and graduated from Granton High School in 1982. Following graduation he worked at Short’s Fur Farm and Tesmer Construction for a short time before finding his calling in life as a milk hauler. He hauled for Lynn Dairy and later for Nasonville Dairy for over twenty years. He met the love of his life, Sandy Knoff, in 2009. They were engaged to be married in September of 2018. He worshiped his grandpa, Fred Dietz, who introduced Terry to his favorite hobbies, hunting, fishing and trapping.   Terry was a member of the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton. He was also a member of the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation and the Wisconsin Trapper’s Association.   He is survived by his grandson, Ryan John Brost, his fiancé Sandy Knoff and her three children, Jennifer (Kristopher) Decorah along with their children, Cecelia, Rosetta and Eleanora, Lynn Knoff along with her children, Autumn and David and Annette (fiancé Andrew) Knoff along with her children, Tyler, Alice and Zoey and Andrew’s four children. Terry is further survived by his parents, John and Margie Vandeberg, his siblings, Jim Vandeberg, Barb (Brian) Friemoth, Debbie Vandeberg and Bob (Jenny) Vandeberg, niece, Jessica (Cory) Melvin along with their children, Skylar, Payton and Lexi, niece, Ashley (fiancé, Jeff Handt) Friemoth and their child, Easton, nephew, Zach Friemoth, niece McKenzie Friemoth, nephew, Chris (fiancé, Ashley) Vandeberg along with their children, Conner, Hailey and Josalynn, a nephew, Austin Vandeberg a niece, Page Vandeberg, his Huskie dog, Yukon and his cat, Frosty.   He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan and his grandparents, Fred and Myra Dietz and Chris and Florence Vandeberg.   Funeral Services for Terry will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Steven Wentz will officiate.
